Positive, I had a great 3-night stay in a Comfort Double Room with Terrace. The room was spacious and had a lovely exit to a garden with a swing. Breakfast was delicious with an array of cheeses, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Couple seeking comfort
We had a deluxe room, was spacious and comfortable, with a minibar and air conditioning that made the stay pretty nice. Breakfast was good too, especially sitting outside on the terrace, enjoying the sun while munching on fresh croissants! It had a nice touch when the receptionists gave us great recommendations for dinner nearby, they were friendly and helpful.
It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable considering the comfort.

Charming historical decor, luxurious and modern bathrooms, stunning stained glass windows
Maintenance on the outdoor terrace needs attention!!! The decor in some rooms is dull and uninviting, making them feel gloomy rather than inviting!!! Bathrooms could benefit from improved layouts for better practicality!!!

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for 2 nights. The room was super comfy, and the bathroom felt really luxurious. Plus, the breakfast was amazing with a huge variety, especially when they brought out gluten-free options! Really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the unique decorations around the hotel.

Our experience at Rijksmonument Hotel De Sprenck included both highlights and a few areas for improvement. The spacious Comfort Double Room with Terrace offered direct access to a lovely garden setting, providing a peaceful retreat. Breakfast each morning was a delightful buffet, especially enjoyed while sitting on the outdoor terrace amidst beautiful scenery. The room itself featured a comfortable bed, a mini-bar, and an electric kettle, making it easy to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us early luggage drop-off and flexible check-in times, which added a personal touch. the outdoor terrace and the room décor seemed a bit outdated and could use a refresh. it felt dull and uninviting at times. While the location near nature was serene, reaching Middelburg's historical center took about 10-15 minutes on foot, which might be a bit far for some travelers. the stay was pleasant, but a few updates to the hotel's décor and maintenance would elevate the experience even further.

Breakfast Delight and Charming Views
I enjoyed a lovely stay with a fantastic breakfast offering a great selection, including scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheeses. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice little balcony overlooking the garden and canal, which was a peaceful spot to unwind. I noticed the lack of atmosphere in the lounge area. it felt too quiet for socializing.

Had an awesome stay with friends! Enjoyed biking around the scenic trails and explored nearby attractions. Loved the cozy vibes in the lounge area. The breakfast spread was plentiful, and the staff shared great tips for dining and things to do. A handy location made our adventures even better!
Just a heads up, the outdoor terrace could use some maintenance. It didn't look its best during our stay.
